A Trinity Small Group is a caring and intentional gathering of individuals committed to meet regularly for the purpose of growing as disciples of Jesus Christ and in Christ-like relationship with each other. Small Groups serve as an additional opportunity for Bible Study and topical studies beyond Sunday morning offerings.
We offer approximately 24 short-term Small Groups each year. Each group meets weekly for 8-12 consecutive weeks.

FAITH FAMILY NIGHT SMALL GROUPS
FFN Begins August 26, 2026 with dinner at 5:30 pm in the Large Dining Room and groups and activities for all ages at 6:15 pm every Wednesday night.
ADULT SMALL GROUPS
Art of Worship – Led by Juliana Montiero in Ed Room 307/311. A group for men and women of all ages who want to explore the intersection of scripture, the church, and visual arts by examining how art has enhanced worship throughout Christian history.
Circle of Sisters – Led by Rhonda Jones in Ed Room 313. A Bible study group for women of all ages.
Faith & Finances – 6:00 pm (Begins Sept. 9) -Facilitated by Heidi Hettler of STCH Ministries in Ed Room 256. A free course to teach you how to make a spending plan, manage debt and loans, set savings goals, and more. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER
Flourishing Faith – Led by Pastors Caren Goodman and Matt Homeyer in the Small Dining Room. A group for men and women of all ages.
Fruit of the Spirit – Led by Pastor Sarah Sensenig in Ed Room 252. A Bible study group for College & Emerging Adults.
Ministry to Moms – Led by Barbara Bach in the CLC Grand Room. A Bible study group for moms of children and students.
CHILDREN & STUDENT ACTIVITIES
Children’s Activities for ages 3 Years-6th Grade, led by the Children’s Ministry in the Children’s Center. Each age group has a time of Bible study, discipleship, music, and age-appropriate activities.
TBC Students Activities for 7th-12th Grade, led by Pastor Austen Winfrey in the Student Center. We play a game, have a quiet time of worship, and then dive into a discussion driven Bible study.
REHEARSALS
Chorale Rehearsals for All Ages, led by Pastor Jacob Sensenig in the Sanctuary from 6:30-7:45 pm. No auditions required, just come and sing.
Orchestra Rehearsals for All Ages, led by Pastor Jacob Sensenig in the Sanctuary from 6:00-7:00 pm. There is a simple audition to join the orchestra, but musicians who play at a high school level or beyond are encouraged to join us.
WEEKDAY SMALL GROUPS
Weekday groups begin on various dates as noted in each description and take place Monday-Friday and one Saturday every-other month; these groups are not part of Faith Family Night.
MONDAY:
Ladies’ Bible Study, led by Laurie Bracher in the CLC Grand Room at 9:30 am. A group for women of all ages. Begins October 5.
TUESDAY:
Iron Sharpens Iron, led by Mike Smith and Tim Morris at TriPoint at 7:15 am. Meets every-other week. A group for men of all ages. Begins September 8.
C.H.A.T. (Creating Hope Amid Tears), led by Anita Foster in TriPoint Room 2 at 10:00 am. A group for women whose spouses have died. Meets year-round.
Tuesday Gathering: Prayer and Potluck, led by Ann DeBarros and Kelly Johnson in the CLC Grand Room at 11:45 am. A group for men and women of all ages. Meets year-round.
T.A.C.O. (Truth, Assurance, Commitment, Obedience) Tuesday, led by John Hale and Mary Osborne in the TriPoint Hub at 6:00 pm. A group for men and women of all ages. Begins September 8.
WEDNESDAY:
Stretch For Life, led by Jill Parker in CLC Room 110/115 at 3:00 pm. A workout group for men and women of all ages. Meets year-round.
Back Nine, led by group members at TriPoint at 7:00 pm. A group for men and women in the 2nd half of life. Meets year-round.
FRIDAY:
Digging Deeper, led by Julie Kroninger in CLC Room 201 at 10:00 am. A group for men and women of all ages. Begins September 11.
SATURDAY:
Proverbs 31 Women, led by Cindy Levy in CLC Room 201 at 11:00 am. Meets the 1st Saturday of every-other month. A group for women of all ages. Begins September 5.
For men and women of all ages! This group meets on Fridays at 10:00 am in Creative Life Center (CLC) room 200 at 10:00 am. Led by Julie Kroninger. Study is "Job's Joy: A Different Twist on the Book of Job."
Children Birth-6th grade | 10:15 am | Children's Center Sunday School is a great opportunity for children to dive deep into God's Word with adult leaders who faithfully serve every week and to build a church community with their peers.
Adults of All Ages | 10:15 am | McCarty Conference Room TBC4U is our one-session get acquainted class for adult guests and new members to ask questions, receive information, and get connected to our variety of Bible studies. Located near church Reception.
College & Emerging Adults Ages 18-24 | 10:15 am | Roof Memorial Library Whether you've grown up in San Antonio, moved here to go to college or are back in town for the break, Trinity has a place for you to grow and explore your faith. We want to help you discover a faith that is dynamic, vibrant, and intersects with the questions of every-day life. We want to help make your faith your own! This is a great place for people in college and early in their adulthood to come find a place of community as we study scripture together.
Adults 20s-30s | 10:15 am | E256 Are you engaged or married in your 20s and 30s? If so, we invite you to come find community with people in your same life-stage. We are passionate about navigating life's ups and downs, studying scripture, and engaging in friendship together.
Adults Age 25-35 | 10:15 am | E 252 This time in young adulthood is filled with many monumental life milestones: graduations, career beginnings/changes, and many more! Trinity Baptist wants to offer a class to navigate this difficult, but exciting time for people in this age demographic. If you or anyone you know fits this description and is not plugged into a class, please send them our way!
Adults Aged 30s-40s | 10:15 am | E263 The Illuminate class focuses on individuals in their thirties and forties, who come from all different walks of life as young professionals, singles, and married with and without kids. We are committed to navigating through questions of vocations, purpose, and investing in relationships. Our class wrestles with scripture in ways that are engaging, challenging, and hopeful, allowing our lives to become illuminated by God, revealed afresh through scripture.
Adults Aged 40+ | 10:15 am | E254 Our Friendship class focuses on men and women who may have teenagers or are empty-nesters. The teaching style is discussion oriented and this group of men and women commit to doing life together, both Sunday mornings and during the rest of the week. If this group sounds like it is in your life-stage, please come and visit the Friendship class!
Adults All Ages | 10:15 am | Large Dining Room Our class is comprised of men and women of all ages and stages. We have a strong focus on fellowship, lecture, and discussion. We especially welcome others that are not already involved in another Sunday school class.
Adults All Ages | 10:15 am | E311 Comprised of men and women of all ages, the Journey class studies the Bible one book at a time. We seek to glean the truth of scripture intended for the original listeners and apply these truths to contemporary life situations. Building community is especially important as we learn together each week.
Adults All Ages | 10:15 am | E313 Our class has a strong emphasis on the study of contemporary issues. We are primarily made up of married couples, and the teaching style facilitates discussion.
Adults All Ages | 10:15 am | E301 Members of our class are married and single men and women. The teaching style is primarily discussion.
